My Happauge USB capture device is even worse.
The TV was obviously doing a ton of processing to the signal, so we looked around in the menu to find a setting we could change. Then you connect the 75 ohm side of the transformer to the TV's antenna input with a standard F-connector cable.
Buy a new TV. Connect the screw lugs to the adapter's screw terminals loosen the screws on the adapter, put the lugs underneath, and tighten the screws down on them.
There is just no simple way, there is no simple adaptor plug to turn RF into AV because electronic circuitry is required to convert the signal. It's called a ohm matched pair to ohm F-Connector transformer, in technical jargon. Several functions may not work. I'll describe both, and I'll save the background info on why this is such a pain for Page 2.
